PhD Candidate- Reinforcement Learning for Air Traffic Control
- Applied Machine Learning research within the operational constraints of Air Traffic Control.
- Conducted fundamental research on open questions in (Multi-Agent) Reinforcement Learning and utilized various methods for encoding input vectors, such as Attention, CNN, or LSTM-based methods.
- Developed an open platform for Reinforcement Learning research in aviation: BlueSky-Gym.

Machine Learning Researcher
- Developed various models for predicting the arrival time of incoming aircraft using raw radar data and Python.
- New developed models based on random forest regressors and neural networks outperformed existing arrival time estimators in 98% of the cases.

- Developed a simulator and corresponding optimization algorithm in Matlab for a highly efficient solar car to compete in the multi-day American Solar Challenge.
- Maintained the onboard computer and developed the cruise control module using C++.
